Responsive - Interim Crit & Peer Review

As part of the Responsive interim crit i had made up a load of A3 'boards' of the project brief work that i had completed. There were a couple that i didn't get around to laying out and printing, but will have them sorted by the proper hand in date in April. I'm not sure how much more 'proper' they need to be made for then, i.e do i have to print them on decent paper and make actual boards? If so,it could prove pricey, as the printing costs were building up even printing off these basic colour A3's at 50p a pop, that will probably never be seen again.
(plus i'll have more finished work by then..?) I'll enquire.

Some of the Illustration Friday boards were a bit of a pain to knock up as i hadn't been creating them at print quality or size, as they're only for online display - so it meant a going back and having to rummage around in the original PS files and make new progress images that wouldn't be pixelated when blown up to A3 For 'professional' presentation purposes, this was kind of essential,as the famous saying goes; "you don't want your hard work let down by shoddy resolution print outs"(!).

Walking around the studio and looking at everyone else's boards was interesting and a good chance to see what their take on similar briefs has been. Also helpful to gain some feedback on my work so far too.

Amongst the positive feedback was this message which made me all warm & toasty inside.(although they might just be winding me up!?) But it's comforting to think that come summer 2017, after i get an F- for my dissertation, when i'm slung back into adult society again, to more-than-likely return to weeding the garden beds of the old and/or wealthy, that i would've inspired just one young person on this planet before i kick the bucket.
